What is Kids Off iPads?
Kids Off iPads is a site of screen-free printable puzzles for kids: word searches, mazes, color by number, dot-to-dot, criss-cross, and word scrambles. You can play many online, print free pages, or buy PDF books in the shop.
Are the individual puzzles free?
Yes. Hundreds of individual puzzles on the site are free to play and print. The shop sells whole books and topic packs as PDF downloads with answers included.
What ages are the puzzles for?
Easy puzzles are aimed at about ages 6-10. Challenge puzzles are aimed at about ages 10 and up. Topics and difficulty vary by activity, so preview a free page if you are unsure.
What do I get when I buy a PDF book?
You get an instant digital download: a printable PDF for US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) paper, with answer keys or finished pictures in the back where the product description says so. Nothing physical ships with a PDF purchase.
How does the download work?
After payment through Stripe, you get the PDF right away. Save the file somewhere you can find it, then print at home or school. If the download fails, email hello@kidsoffipads.com with your order details and we will fix delivery.
Can I print as many copies as I need?
Yes, for personal use, homeschool, and classroom use with your own students. You may not resell the files, share the PDF for public download, or use it in another commercial product. See Terms for the full license.
Can teachers use these in class?
Yes. Classroom use with your own students is allowed. Sharing the PDF file itself on public drives or reselling printed packs is not.
Are digital purchases refundable?
Digital purchases are non-refundable once the file has been delivered (downloaded or made available for download). If you could not download because of a technical problem on our side, contact hello@kidsoffipads.com. Failed delivery is not treated as a completed download.
What about the spiral-bound books?
Spiral-bound color books show as Coming soon on the shop. They are not available to buy yet. When print is live, they will be printed and shipped (planned via Lulu). PDF versions of those titles are available now where listed as Instant download.
Do kids need an account?
No. Accounts are for adults 18 and over (parents and teachers). Kids use the activities without signing up.
What paper size should I use?
Print on US Letter, 8.5 x 11 inches. Use portrait unless a product page says otherwise.
